Don't think so, Gay was just in normal lateral movement and then slightly rolled his ankle. I think the fact that Crawford hit the shot right after kinda fired everyone up and exaggerated what happened.
True, but that didn't happen in this video. He didn't step on anyone's foot. Lost his balance, but the hesitation move was not all that good.
your giving too much credit to crawford.. i don't see any mad move.. rudy gay simply messed up either lost balance or his legs froze for some reason
What was even more amazing was Z-Bo's WWF move on Blake Griffin <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/TEBOw5lzMgc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Generally when you lose your balance or your legs freeze up when you're guarding someone, it's because the guy you're guarding put on a move that made you do so. In fact, this is the exact definition of an ankle breaker. Defenders don't just fall for entirely no reason. This is like the fourth or fifth thread I've seen about an ankle breaker in which, for whatever reason, people refuse to give any credit to the move. I admit that if you step on the guy's foot, it's not an ankle breaker, but if there's no contact and the guy just "loses his balances," it's because he got broke down, not because this world-class athlete all of a sudden had the athletic ability of a kindergartner.
LOL. Approved the Battier-Gay trolling. Anyway, Crawford was tearing it up last night. Lots of fair weather Lakers fans are jumping ship to be excited about the Clippers this season.
