I was actually surprised that Jones didn't get off the bench tonight as I kinda of saw him as the most consistent rookie during the preseason. I actually think he's going to end up being the big that provides offense later on in the season.
this was on voulgaris twitter page all he takes is the most efficient shots and is above avg on most, great combo and takes very little no bad shot attempts

I can't say I was THAT surprised. I was a little bit, but not too much. McHale's main concern going into last night with the 4 and the 5 spot was spacing the floor at the 4 spot, and who gives us the best post presence off the bench when Asik is out. Morris= floor spacing Smith= most physically gifted big off the bench. Has been a beast in preseason. I dont think that means Jones will not play at all in the start of the season. I think the opposite. However, McHale and the coaches need to work some plays into their system, and get some practices in. Knowing the gameplan was what it was last night, the minutes going to Morris and Smith don't surprise me one bit. Its one game guys. Just enjoy the POSITIVE moments we saw last night, and remember that its a long season.
Funny, I was just thinking that the Harden+Lin combo is the bizarro Steve+Cat backcourt. All these guys have talent, but Harden and Lin are the opposite of Dribble-Mania.
Morey has been raving about Asik for a long, long time now. So not surprised to see him get so worked up about it. I've thought all along that only 2 questions remain between Asik and elite defender status: health and stamina. If he can average 30-35mpg for entire season without slowing down, then I would put his upside at Tyson Chandler/Ben Wallace territory.

He's a troll, I don't even think he's a Lin fan. Hardly ever mentions or compliments Lin, just bashes everyone.
He inspired Harden to turn the ball over 4 times. Harden saw Lin had 4 turnovers so he knew he had to match that so Lin wouldn't feel bad.
