Dayum, that's a lot of cash. Glad we got that over with, we finally have a player that's here to stay!

Understood, but who do they cut? They are already cutting decent players.

Contracts do run out. Plus, we are probably not done making moves.

Patterson, Smith, Machado, Cook, Delfino and Aldrich are all expendable

I'm excited to have him too, but man, is he really worth that much???

Just really hoping he isn't a bad contract we are trying to unload in 3 years.

No way will become an albatross contract. Worst case scenario is becomes and Andre Igoudala type contract, a good player that's slightly overpaid but still a commodity for teams looking for that final piece.

Or in 3 years when he is the next Kevin Martin.

Not saying he will be that but I also don't think he is the best player or maybe not even the 2nd best player on a championship team.

He's better than Kevin Martin at least at this age.

It could be a Joe Johnson type of thing...but we have to remember this is Morey we are dealing with. Keep Morey around and I'm pretty confident that when Harden is in his prime that Morey would have swindled another all-star player here.

If last year is not a team option, we made same error as TMac's again.

How come Harden can get 5 year $80M with Houston, but OKC could only offer him max of 4 yr $60M? Is that salary cap rules?

yes - you can only go full five years with one player on your team and the thunder had already done so. The rockets had not.

What I like most about the extension: It's not my money!!!

Funny how people complain about the amount. It's not coming off your paycheck ;)

Is it game time yet??? I can't get any work done today, Halloween and all...
