The administration can remove the thread for any reason.
I live in new jersey, the power is out since yesterday afternoon. No power means no internet and no tv. We have a generator but have to use it wisely. I am using my cell phone to check emails and news.
A lot of areas are flooded and a lot falling trees and down wires in where I live. And my friend told me south jersey is pretty much gone.
Hope everyone is ok. Hope that I can see the opening game tomorrow, although the chance is low.
    Be safe.

I'm in dorms in Manhattan. Our power is going to be out 3-4 days (up to 7), but luckily our building has a backup generator that's powering the hallways so we can charge phones/laptops. The main problem for me is food since everything is closed and stupid me didn't think power would be out more than a day.

I am lucky that my cell phone is still working, a lot of towers got knocked down though.
I can access the cf ,read some threads. That's much what I have done today.

CF is one of the best gifts of being a Rockets fan. I get my regular dose of Rockets juice here at CF.

I was streaming the harden conference yesterday as my friends from rockaway were staying with us. I think my explanation of the harden pick up took their minds off the impending doom for 1 minute. So in a small way the rockets put some worried souls at ease.

We got 80mph winds where I was on Long Island. Only lost the internet on my campus. still had power and cable. It was intense but we were more fortunate than the people n Queens, and along the the shore of LI.

Best of luck to all my fellow cf new york folks. I'm grateful that in my area of the Bronx we didn't have much damage. I hope for a quick recovery of all those affected.

    Go Rockets!!
