no, title says "I wonder how Jeremy Lin feels now?". i'm pretty sure he meant "I wonder how Jeremy Lin feels now?". no?
people aren't down on Lin per say. It's just getting Lin didn't really improve us at the the point guard position, we pretty much broke even losing Lowry and getting Lin. I'm pretty indifferent about it.
The Rockets fans are over reacting. Lin, Parsons and other teammates have no problems with Harden joining Houston. With Harden in, they are getting closer to the playoff. In fact, Lin was the first to congratuate Harden and Parsons twitted, "beard me." The only problem is to set chemistry quickly without the benefit of preseason games.
UUMMM...did you mean Harden Only Fans or Houston Only Fans? I need this distinction in order to process your take properly.
I've been reading this board nearly daily for years only commenting if I can bring something of value to our members. But I have to say I've been disappointed to see such ridiculous treads like this started with no substance nor intelligence. It's disappointing to see posts like this in treads but it's just senseless to start treads like this. I hope people will start thinking more before writing - prove your point with some facts but please don't just make things up just because you have nothing else to write.
Less focus on Lin means less pressure, making it possible to do what he did last year. Leaving Harden or Parsons on the perimeter to help on Lin driving will be dangerous for any team to do. He'll be able to get to the basket a lot easier than he did in the preseason, which wasn't hard for him either. Hopefully Jones get the nod at PF because he can score as well.
This always happens when big news breaks, you should know this. After the excitement dies down, things will be back to normal.
Lin never sought the limelight. Kid just wants to play basketball. But it's not something that OP can understand.
Lin tends to overreact in certain situations, including his example during his Christian testimony that he threw away the MVP award after playing a tournament in China. Then going on and saying he probably would quit basketball if he kept get getting cut, but there were teams still trying to claim him. Lin's humility comes from his own struggles, just like when he broke his ankle during high school.
Harden Only Fans. It's just that when you have two players like this people take sides. Seen it with Shaq&Kobe...Kobe&Pau...Wade&Lebron...WB&Durant...etc etc and here it used to be Tmac vs Yao all the time. If both of these guys live up to what people expect them to then some people will like Harden more and blame Lin when things go wrong and some people will blame Harden when things go wrong. We'd be lucky if this happens though because that means both players are really good and have their own fans.
