...yes, from the JAZZ!!! I know you all hate them, and I won't even try to convince you not to. I LOVE the Rockets more than I do to the Jazz, but I ENJOY BEING a Jazz fan way more, and do you know why? Because of those two 40 years olds? That Russian ugly? That 76er dissertee? That dirty/crying coach? NO. I enjoy the Jazz because they play BASKETBALL. They play as a team, and it's way more fun to watch some people who are not as talented, young and athletic but play unselfishly and smartly than bunch of stars who don't know how to play together and get it done. Yes, the Jazz is by far not the best team in the NBA. Yes, they have no rings. And Yes, you hate them. But don't you think the young Rockets should learn something from those old thugs? When some day we can transform Stockton-to-Malone into Franchise-to-Dynasty, my dream would be complete and I can die without regret.

There are a lot of good examples on how to play the right way; Pacers, Kings, Nets, Mavs...

But Francis can never play like Stockton. Francis will be more like Kevin Johnson or Isiah.

It is amazing how little Stockton turns the ball over, though.

I understand j but you must remember that the Failman will only be respected long after he's retired once everyone has forgotten that a third of his points came on free throws from flailing arms and kicks in the groin. Try that comparison in about 15 years.

KJ. Now there's someone for Little Stevie to model his game after. (If only we could have lured him from retirement)

Hey, Jamal is right. If Jerry Sloan were the coach of the Rox in the 90s with Dream on the team, Rox would win 3 or 4 Championships.

Jazz has no business winning and no business ahead of the Rox with their players. They are winning because of their coach!

I hate the Jazz as much as any Rockets fan. Their flopping ability make me want to puke. But as they say, it's not cheating unless you get caught.

Despite my hatred, I do respect them. The Jazz play great team basketball. If the Rockets play half as well on offense as the Jazz, this team would easily be a top 4 team in the west.

I hate Jazz but their offensive execution is a thing we could learn.

Yeah, I think that was the main point of the post...

I think it does good for the Rockets to look around the league and see how other coaches do things.

The Rockets can always learn new things and incorporate them into our own system.

I had the tickets for the Jazz/Jail Blazers game last night, but I decided to throw it away because I wanted to say home to watch the Rockets/Mavs game on TV. I actually watched both games on TV at the same time. It turned out my sacrifice of the tickets were for NOTHING. I should have gone to the Jazz game.

Both playing at home, I saw the complete opposite.
The first half, the Jazz had little energy. Defense was bad, no offense whatsoever, and the score was 37 - 50 and the Jazz were down by 13. On the other hand, the Rockets were cruising with their inside punches by Yao Ming. Boy, was I glad I didn't go to the Jazz game?

A different story in the second half, Jazz started to hustle, play good D, and got their inside game going. The Blazers started their dirty plays and tried to hurt Harpring, but the Jazz showed class. They manhandled the Blazers and won by 24! Here in the Mavs/Rockets game ..., need I say more?

Come on, Rockets, make me happy as a fan please! Learn from the Jazz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
