A lottery pick from 2010 draft out of Kansas.

He's 6'11" so he'll be backing up Asik.

As you can see he hasn't done much for his career.

I haven't seen him much at OKC because he doesn't get very much playing time. Anyone know his upside?

    Potentially better than Greg Smith.

    He's a stiff though.

He's been a bust, saying he's better than Thabeet isn't saying much

23 years old...bigs usually take more time to develop. Lets see what CD can do with him first before writing him off as a stiff.

I wouldn't put so many zeros behind that 1. I think he could be 5 times better than Thabeet....

On the current roster, I wouldn't even put Aldrich ahead of Greg Smith.

He has played pretty decent in the preseason. I think Hollinger had him pegged as becoming a legit backup C this season. I'm cautiously optimistic about him.

He's got a 7'5 wingspan. Defensive stopper (blocks a lot of shots) and good motor and rebounder.

I'm not convinced he's got much in offence, but Draftexpress lists his back to the basket scoring as a positive - so?

Think Asik lite? Well worth persevering with a legitimately big guy who is mobile around the court and (allegedly) smart and mistake free.

In the pre-seaon he looked better then he did during the last 2 years. I hope he can be our backup.

If he puts up 4 and 5 this year I'll be happy. I'd like to see Greg Smith get a shot though.

We have Smith as a back up Center now. But he will have his time.

He is terrible. But maybe he can learn from McHale.

Extremely limited minutes, but in what time he has played

10-11 he averaged 8.9 reb and 1.8 blks per 36 mins

11-12 he averaged 10 reb and 3.5 blks per 36 mins

Given playing time i think he can be at the least a great backup.

He's smart, has long arms, and plays hard. He's and instant upgrade over Greg Smith.

Great addition to the trade, but not a major difference maker.

Good enough to be at least 3rd string.

Aldrich and DMo can be paired together to maximize their strengths and hide their weaknesses

He's Okay. He got by in college because he was bigger (6'11" and 245-255 in college) than the average guy he faced. He has an awkward shot too. He had a decent move or two, but really has to develop if he wants to do well in the NBA. Has the size, but he's not that quick and his moves aren't going to fool a good NBA defender.
