    Jeez, dude.

    A jerk? Maaaaaybe.

Abrasive, probably. He doesn't go over well with African-American 7 footers, to be sure. Shaq and Howard both got him canned from their respective teams.

Anyway, I'd rather have some commentators who make everything livelier. There are enough watered-down personalities calling the games.

Not that it really matters to this ESPN story, but this isn't true according to Shaq. Yes, at the time there was rumor that Riley ran him out and rumors that it was Shaq, but Shaq denies that in his latest book. Riley ran SVG out, so he could take over after SVG nearly got them to the finals the year before (up 3-2 when Wade injuried his rib).

I've got nothing against him. Maybe it's a little rhetorical flourish to get people to see the story from a different angle. I'm sure his mother still loves him, at least.

Looks like he will have to go back to his former career, i.e. p*rn.

But they offered him a job and pulled out at the last second w/ no logical explanation. Thats awful ethics on behalf of a professionally ran company. Unfortunately these type games get played all the time in corporate environments
