If Lowry and dragic didn't get you to the playoff with a much more experienced team, I don't think they will do any better if they stayed with rockets. I like what clutch said, we are getting linpatient. Relax Lin will be alright. More importantly, it should be a more exciting team to watch.
He'll be given every opportunity. It's on him to either prove his critics wrong or get humiliated for the next six months.
I think Lin is the type of player that has the X factor. He's not flashy but he's a winner. People want flashy but who cares? In the end, winning is all that matters.

CP360 had an entire meniscus removed, so it's not the same. For Lin, 6 months sure seems like an awfully long time to still be recovering from a torn meniscus. Lestar Jean was back on an NFL field this past Sunday, just 3 weeks after meniscus surgery. There must be more to Lin's knee injury than first assumed. It's early, it's preseason blah blah blah, but this is starting to remind me of the whole knee situation with T-Ma........ok ok slow down, too early to go there.
He could be the reason that we finally get a better pick than 14. We clearly got the third best pg out of the group of Lin, Lowry, and Dragic.
I'd say this thread is a season too early. We're rebuilding not contending. Every new young prospect on this team is a season long roll of the dice minimum irrespective of whether they had 25 Linsane games on another team last season. That Asik and Jones are paying dividends this early is a huge bonus for sure. But let's be reasonable before we even have to try and be 'patient'.
3 yr contract with the Rockets, so yeah I can wait just a little... If he becomes a bust it's all on him and the management because I can't seemed to watch Rockets game 90% of the freaking time... So really, it doesn't matter being patient or not with Lin, will I be able to see the Rockets game on my freaking TV in the next 3 years without streaming on my computer like I'm watching midget p*rn????
