Of course, I know. My cookies tell them I am interested in KFC because I went to KFC to pick up the picture link. Probably in another five minutes, it will be back to cars. I was doing Internet Car Info searching. Is this wonderful!
This is very true. The McDonald's in Rome (Spanish Steps) is super classy, expensive and has its own gelato bar and coffee & sweet bar. Felt out of place in shirt, shorts and flip flops. I thought I saw the golden arches outside but inside wasn't familiar at all. The McDonalds at the train station was more my speed LOL.
You went to McDonald's in Italy??? With all the "flip flops & shorts" trattorie/osterie that one can find even on Tripadvisor? You should forever burn in the hell of fast food restaurants  Next time at least try the Italian fast food, it's in front of the McDonald's at the train station, and at Largo Chigi near the Trevi Fountain
Don't be so hard on the guy. If you're travelling/working abroad for extended periods, fast food becomes like comfort food. A Big Mac, Whopper, or Wendy's looks pretty darn good. It's a welcome taste of home when you've had one too many local meals....
ITA. McDonald and Starbucks are for me like Americana heaven after I had the same food for two weeks while traveling overseas. I swear grilled chicken salad in Turkey's McDonald tasted better than that in the U.S.
Why Linman, I mean Tinman, WHY?? We NEED you to patrol GARM and keep all LOF's, TOF's, YOF's in check!
1. KFC is bigger than McDonald's in China 2. KFC in China is MUCH better in quality compared to KFC in the US 3. It makes perfect sense for Lin to team up with the most prominent fast food franchise in a country of over a billion people and one that will inherit the leadership of the world for the next century when it comes to the economy and consumer marketing I was in China for two months last year, and the weight just basically melted off of me if I ate only street food or even dined at the nicer restaurants. What finally got me to stop losing muscle was when I finally made 1-2 spicy chicken sandwiches at KFC per day the foundation of my food pyramid. It's about 15-20g of protein in one sandwich with what feels like 20% of the grease and crustiness of an American piece of deep-fried chicken. Their spice is also very good. I got back and haven't touched KFC (or other American fast food chicken joints) once in the past five months. It's just inedible here.
Well McDonalds in China is garbage when I went there. Pizza Hut is a whole lot better there than in the US though. It actually serves high quality food. Never tried KFC in China so don't know about that.
KFC China made it clear that Lin is for 3 men basketball, nothing to do with KFC business promotion. Fans here in Shanghai were upset when the news came out that Lin would do commercial for KFC, later on we were a little bit relieved by KFC's clarification. Maybe that's just disguised replacement of concept, but that's what we wanted, so we accepted it.
I prefer church's because they have fried okra & open at 10am. Idk if kfc does fried okra or not, but it seems like they are pushing a healthier grilled alternative to fried, transitioning that direction. Yet wasn't it also kfc who recently made a fried chicken sandwich, where the "bread" of the sandwich was fried chicken too? They need to calm down & stick to the basics.
This thread was also meant to show if people really have any taste in fried chicken. I can't believe people would pick KFC over Popeyes. I wonder if this is happening in China because Lin is endorsing it <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/8pyW6w5B7Aw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I think this guy is a MUCH BETTER KFC spokesperson than Lin <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/xEPcOBhu5xw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
