This is just too easy, no way I will respect this team if they win a championship. This is what you get when people realize they can't win anything without joining the enemy, really sad..

No Houston game last night. So I watched LAL and Dwight Howard's debut.
It is a fun game to watch!

Howard's debut is impressive as expected. In some area, timing is slightly off but overall a great game.

My prediction, LAL will be in the NBA final this season.

Their 2013 attendance will be in the area of 700,000+.

Winning superstars will fill seats! Hope their team stay healthy!

Other than the starting five, they really do not have much on the bench.

I think that's going to take a heavy toll on Nash on Kobe during the regular season but especially during the playoffs, given their age and mileage.

This league is just ridiculous. How did Gasol, Howard, Kobe, and Nash get on the same team? What a joke.

The Lakers should be very disappointed if they don't reach the Finals this season. And as much as I like Nash, I really hope they don't. Wouldn't have minded before they got Howard, but that was too much already.

Easily if that team is the Lakers.

Also didn't root for his teams when he played for Dallas.

0-6 in the pre-season, but it still feels like I'm watching the Avengers of basketball.

I always thought it was bad manners to cheer for injuries to rival teams but I'm tempted, really tempted.

I'll be surprised if they get to the playoffs with all 4 stars reasonably healthy.

    They are 0-6 in preseason.

Watched a little bit of the game. Commentators made me feel sad they have no bench. They need more help:rolleyes:

It is so sad to think of what we could've had if Dwight came to Houston...instead the rich just got richer.

I still can't believe it, Aaron Afflalo? I mean come on!

They played Kobe, Dwight, Artest, Gasol, and Nash starters' minutes against the Sacramento Kings, and lost? Lol.

Lakers won't be good in the regular season. They do have no bench and Nash won't play more than 30 mpg in regular season and they still need to work out the chemistry. If there is an injury here and there, I can see them finishing no higher than a 4 seed. But then once the postseason starts and the rotation tightens up, they should roll into the Finals no problem. Kobe and company know what's important and know how to pace themselves.
