This makes me so angry. Does this guy know what freedom of expression means? These protests are a freedom of expression.

As stupid as what they're saying may be, freedom of speech includes the freedom to criticize freedom of speech.

As long as it's peaceful and legal, let them make a fuss. No one's going to take them seriously.

Also, the video had absolutely nothing to do with the death of any human on the face of earth.

Does that make sense to you?

What he is really saying is I don't like free speech.

Muslims need to stop getting so worked up over stupid little things. It makes them look frightened and petty.

No to me it doesn't, but it doesn't have to. It's free speech, it's legal, it's peaceful.

The protest may or may not be legal (there might be local city ordinances or whatever regarding safety reasons), but the demand they have is idiotic and displays intolerance.

What it displays is the out-of-touch reality many conservative Muslims deal with on a daily basis. I understand that your religion doesn't allow for ridicule of your Prophet, but he is not my Prophet, and he is not part of MY religion. Why on Earth would I respect your request for me to censor my words to appease you, when refuse to do such things for me. It just shows the egocentric viewpoint these people have. The World does not cater to Islam, they can either realize and accept this, or they will find themselves at the end of a very heavy sword.

To explain my last statement, one way or another if these things continue (mass rioting and protests over silly videos) eventually it is going to escalate and if it comes between them and us (them being radical Muslims, and us being the Western/Free world) I doubt we will have many reservations when annihilating them.

Old-School Islam, like Old-School Christianity, has no place for tolerance.

These are UK Muslims. You're neither going to arrest or attack your own citizens in the "Western/Free world".

You go after the violent ones, the criminals - because they have committed crimes. Everyone else is practicing free speech and it would be illogical to go after them with a "heavy sword". If ignoring the idea of free speech to take the type of action you describe is appropriate recourse, it is a far greater attack on free speech than what these people are demanding.

This isn't about that one film. This is about Muslims trying to dictate their standards to others. People should brace themselves for what happens as the percentage of Muslims in their countries goes up.

Where were the riots over this movie?

And will there be riots over this upcoming feature?

Freedom of speech and freedom of expression is a beautiful thing. If Islam is truly the religion of peace, then make a movie about Islam and Mohummad for the westerners to see.

Everybody knows that Westerners would rather see the film than read the book!

Agreed. The protests are stupid. Drawings of the Prophet are not allowed in Islam but that applies to Muslims only, everyone else can do whatever the hell they want as long as it follows the country's law. It boggles my mind why some Muslims get worked up about a rule that only applies to them and not to the whole world. Makes no sense and is pretty sad.

I believe that it is a way of imposing their belief system and rules onto the general population. We Christians like to do it too, the difference is Christians usually don't riot, call for people to be beheaded or kill people to get our point across.

The violent riots are a form of installing terror into the hearts of the Kufar infidel.

I hope it stays that way. Innocent people of any race, religion or persuasion don't deserve to be indiscriminately murdered.

it shouldn't. Christianity had its enlightenment period about 400 years ago.
