The show has officially gone to ****. Much like Weeds moving to Mexico and ruining the good thing they had going, Dexter's secret being known by Debra takes all the guilty fun out of watching.
Yea and what the heck was the purpose of building up that character so much? I guess to magnify how serious these euro's are!

Yes! What a fantastic line it was....damn shame we probably won't be getting anymore of those. Good thing Masuka was never actually killed off
I don't know either. The Euro's killing them seemed like a convenient out. It's like the writers felt like it was a good idea, and then after so many episodes realized that it wasn't working. Kinda sucks because they could've used the time to develop other story lines more. The only other thing I can think of is if people don't want to work with that actor anymore. They killed off Half Sack on Sons of Anarchy because of something similar.
That whole exchange was pretty funny with t-shirt bit too. Masuka's always good for comic relief, but they only use him when they need him now, kind of like Harrison.
awesome episode, one of the best of the series. The exchange with him an Deb and the ending were great. I am officially on board with Dexter again.
Oh my god that moment when he started mocking the guys yelling was too funny! But yeah this episode was great. Spoiler So was this new boss guy gay with Victor or am I assuming this wrongly? Don't know if they were related or if they were really good friends or something....
Spoiler Why would he hide a picture of his son in the back of a picture frame? It seems pretty clear to me that they were lovers.
yeah good point. it'll be interesting to see how they go after dexter. Seems to me that they're going to have to somehow tip their hand and dexter will magically be able to get away since dexter has no clue they're on to him. Also, does nobody care to ask about louis and where he's gone? I mean I understand that masuka fired him and jamie dumped him but cmon wouldn't he turn up as some kind of missing person...? maybe that's just me being nitpicky.
Yeah considering they replayed that part in the recap in the beginning, I thought they were going to address that situation somehow in this episode. Spoiler It was also kinda weird to me that after they had to let Speltzer go, they didn't have some cops patrolling him considering he did admit to killing that girl...
Why do people continue to bash this show? If you don't like it, then gtfo. This season has packed a punch back into Dexter. Am enjoying the new twist where Deb finally is involved with Dexter's business.
I think it's pretty obvious that Season 7 is a return to form. They clearly had the whole "Deb finds out about Dexter" thing thoroughly thought out, and Seasons 5 and 6 were simply just the network wanting the show to keep running. They were filling in, and while it was certainly not as strong as the first 4 seasons, this show is back. No question about it. Season 7 is shaping up to be one of the best.
Deb wants Dexter to give her the business I predict she'll take a bullet at the end of this season and the last season will be a rampaging solo Dexter...randomly knocking off anyone that irritates him.
Like the prediction and makes sense. Her experience wallowing in blood could be a foreshadow of what's to come. On the flip side, Dexter could have one last fling w/ the cotton swab blonde this season and then the next season being the last Deb and Dexter go off riding in the sunset (probably not but who knows - this is a strange series)?
