The Rockets will win this game by more than 15 points. It's time this team starts to put away the bottom feeders of the league.
    Go Rockets!! :)

When Yao doesn't make his shots early, Mobley and Francis will take upon themselves and go to ISO mode, all the other players don't move off the ball because they think Mobley and Francis go to ISO so they won't get the ball anyway, and Mobley and Francis can't move the ball because no player moves and no one is open, so once the opposition defense focus on Mobley and Francis and they can't make shots, Yao can't make shots because Mobley and Francis won't trust him and never get him the ball, the other players can't make the shots either because they will be so cool, finally no one can make a shot, the whole team offense suffers and we lose. It's a bad cycle really.

When Yao gets his shots going early, that will open up the court, that will make Mobley and Francis score more easily and pass the ball more as well, then it creates better ball movement and better player off the ball movement in the whole team, so better shots are created, everyone can get shots and make them, and we win. Good cycle.

Well hopefully the latter situation happens. :)

    Sunday afternoon?

But it's early in the morning (2am) in Shanghai, so I suppose there won't be too many Chinese fans watching it live.

sometimes i wish they lose more so they can finally get rid of rudy t. i think it is for the better to have a new system in place. that is not going to happen if rudy t. is around. he is too much a player's coach that he doesn't have control of his players anymore. we need more someone who is from "old-school" to emphasize TEAM-PLAY rather than one-on-one plays.

i bet you this team is not going anywhere with rudy t. around. we have so much talent that is being misused.

i know there are not a lot of good candidate to replace rudy t. but i think mike fratello will be a good candidate. i know he didn't have much success in cleveland but he did make them a decent team without any all-star player. how much more with this so much talent.

we need someone to reinforce to francis especially to mobley and norris to start looking to pass first instead of shooting first. stop too much exhibition dribbling. that the score will not show how good dribblers they are. that they have teammates other than the basket. and to be more in control than making those erratic decisions esp. in the crucial part of the game (note to francis and mobley).

MIKE FRATELLO as the new head coach. better yet if they can persuade CHUCK DALY to get out of retirement.

anyone but rudy t. i am just sick and tired of ISOLATION plays and players sitting on the bench while the starters are doing so poorly on the court.

calling on Les Alexander's attention???

So true! So true! Sometime, or most of the time lately, when I watch Rockets games, I couldn't believe that I was watching professional game.

If they can actually stick w/ a starting lineup of Mobley, Francis, Posey, Cato and Ming, they might have something. AND GOD FORBID, if they run that damn ISO offense w/ Francis bouncing on the key, they are definitely going to lose. Why doesn't Francis have any games like the L.A. game? He scored his points, but impressed me was his 11 ASSISTS! PASS FRANCIS, PASS!!!!

I think we should rest Yao for this game. Cato can take care of Curry and Chandler. Our problem is at PF, where DOnyell MArshall is playing marvelously.

The key here, is for Francis to destroy Crawford, and not let Crawford match him.

They're such a hardworking team, and actually pretty good at home. I'm hoping we can limit everyone and let Jalen Rose get his.

We need Yao or MoT to hit his shots early. That is very important for us. If not, we will see a lot of ISO, one-on-one play, which
has not been successful in these days.

I wish we have motion offense like the Kings and the Mavs, but
since we don't really have those in place, we have to establish our inside presence early. If so, Bulls may have to double team
, that will give our outside player some open shots.

Otherwise, Steve may have to score 40 pts again for us to win.

Somtimes, it is not just playing hard, it is how smart you play to win.

    Go Rockets!!!

Not a bad first quarter for the Rox. I like the game plan.
Establish the inside play. We need to stick with it.
Bulls already had fouls trouble, continue attacking them ...

    How undisciplined are the Rockets?

That's the first UNFORCED 8-second violation I ever seen. EVER!

Yao did ok, he scored 4 pts with 4 or 5 shooting.
Second quarter Bulls had not problem feeding
the ball to fizer, he already scored 6 pts.
Mob just had couple of bad plays.

On the bench. With one foul (?).
