Thanks CarlHerrera, she has shown so much heart and fighting spirit during this ordeal that it has inspired many. The amazing thing is how she is taking it in her stride. She has only ever asked once 'why is this happening to me?' and never complained about what she is going through. ...she is an amazing little girl, I am blessed as a father to have her.
That's awesome, i love Clutchfans. I don't know what encouraging words to say to your daughter and your family other than keep on fighting the good fight!!!
Just posted the Pictures of her gift from Daryl Morey and Kevin Martin...Here http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?p=7179415#post7179415 Spoiler UPDATE Finally some good news was given, that my daughter is responding to the treatment, and that the tumour is starting to shrink to a point where it hopefully can be removed permanently. I thank God that we have the number 1 surgeons and oncology doctors in the Southern Hemisphere treating her, and the prayers and well wishes from everyone who has read her inspirational story.
My daughter, who is currently on chemotherapy treatments received a gift from Singapore today... We find out soon how successful the treatments have been.
Hi Mate as a fellow aussie I am encouraged by your stories. Let me know if you ever need anything in Sydney will be glad to help out
What an inspirational story, thank you very much for sharing. You have a beautiful family. Best wishes to you, and your family.
This was a gift from Clutchfan Dayanm and his awesome little son drew that picture for my daughter. Thanks Dayanm. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/member.php?u=52071 UPDATE... We had to take Tayleesha to hospital again at 3:30am yesterday, she had a very high temperature and was shaking. Tay's still got high fever, she is very alert though. Has a few ulcer sores in her mouth. They are doing her cultures at the moment, but now she must stay min of 48 hours, possibly a week if another blood transfusion is needed. She went in for an early MRI today, which is a blessing...we were going to have to wait another 4-6 weeks for the MRI, now we get to see the full effects of the chemotherapy. Doctors taking every precaution & were a little worried. We get the results on Monday or Tuesday. I believe that God's hand is at work, and we already have the best doctors working on her case. I have faith that all will be well in the end.
I'm praying for Tayleesha extra hard to pull through, Izak, Stay strong for her and your family. You're a good man.
Thanks Joesr. Great news everyone here on Clutchfans, not only is Dwight back in uniform... But my Daughter is officially 1 year cancer / tumour free!!! After a battle that included 3 major surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation treatment, lots of prayers & support world wide, my daughter beat it! She never gave up hope, still participated in her sports - running her little athletics races right after chemo some days. I thank all y'all here on Clutchfans that gave words of encouragement and sent gifts & Rockets caps, books and Texans gear. She loved and appreciated it all, so did I. This is what makes The Rockets family & organisation the best in the world. God bless y'all & never forget: Never underestimate the heart of a champion!!!
