Yes there is a point to using Rondo as an example when somebody operates under the premise that pre-season play is 100% indicative of regular season play.

    S. Nash just had one ASA, but 4 TO in 12 mins. Relax and wait for regular season.

Lol why listen to that troll or if not a troll not a very knowledgeable basketball fan? The guy who has made quality threads such as Terrence Jones is the next Dwight Howard. Over 10k spam posts.... Smfh.

Lin just needs to "rest" more

he is overdoing it and digging a bigger recovery hole

That article just came out on the 16th, but oddly it doesn't appear anywhere on the ESPN homepage. I think it's the first published piece that suggests Lin's departure was due more to Melo than Dolan.

I kinda agree. He is a combo guard(better pure than TD for sure) ... he has "long deep" but not "wide wing" court version due to his stunning speed when he is driving to the hole. He can actually be a average pass first PG in the first three Qs and then change his gear to become a super scorer in the 4th Q if giving the chances.

Nice article, thanks for the link. It takes a lot of chutzpah for a minimum contract player to stand up to the max contract player like that. I like it ;)

The article that my sig comes from. It was definitely Dolan's decision, but the "superstar" of the team not wanting Lin back definitely pushed it along.

This article is titled "Don't Blame Carmelo" but then quotes a source that says this:
    lol

^I'll take a FULL ROSTER of humble, hardworking Lins over those two jerks.

12 Lins would DESTROY J.R. Gangster & Me, Myself & Melo.

All good articles. There was also a thread that introduced the CAA angle in all this. It was a good post, and now with all these revelations, it seems that there were a lot of different factors that came into play for Lin to end up a Rocket.

Now, I'm just happy that we might be able to catch the Rockets on national tv a litte more..

It's one thing to handle pressure when nobody expects anything of you and you're suddenly thrown into the mix of things. It's another when you're the freaking face of the team, a global icon, on the page of every single magazine and is awarded with a hefty contract. Sit through that for a summer and tell me you're not getting a little nervous.

All of these things were about 1000x more intense during Linsanity and he dealt with it pretty well.
