It's a good flick. Ladd is sexy as hell. It's also ten years old. What I fail to understand is why it took such a sophisticated fellow that long to discover it. And as others pointed out, Gere's character (very well played, btw) is a wealthy man, busy running his own business, and a guy who shockingly resembles Richard Gere. Go figure. Having said that, sometimes a chick gets bored and simply wants some excitement, some "strange," and in getting it, unexpectedly falls for the stranger. That stuff happens in "real life." It happened to my S.O., who had a long relationship with a very nice guy. I was the stranger.
