I have watched basketball for a long time.

Smush Parker has been one of the WORST starting/heavy minutes players I have ever seen play.

    He was atrociously bad.

Some players have crappy teammates for their entire career. Lebron, Chris Paul, and Dwight would have had crappy teammates for probably their entire career if they stayed in their respective franchises.

Kobe is one of the luckiest players of all time. He got to play with a peak Shaq. Got to play with a peak Gasol, Bynum, and Odom. Then gets to play with a peak Dwight and old Pau and Nash who are still elite.

^^ He has to find something to motivate him in the off season lol. He probably remembers the time some kid stole his candy back in kindergarten or something.

To me this really puts into perspective Kobe giving mild props to Parsons.

Manny Pacquiao, Jeremy Lin, Yao Ming, Tim Duncan, Derek Rose, to name a few, dispel the myth that you need to be a narcissistic egomaniac to be successful.

But for every manny pacquiao there is a floyd mayweather. Just like for every barack obama, there's a mitt romney...ooops.;)

Please refer to a player named Rafer Alston , starter for Houston Rockets...bench scrub and subsequently a retiree when he wasn't the coach's favorite.

Smush seemed worse than Rafer only because of his name. If he was called Sam Parker, people would only remember him as a no talent bench player, not as the worst player.

On behalf of us here tinman, we have just one thing to say to you: life, get one. The nostalgia about Clutch City etc. is just too much. The Jordan era was special. Legit champions right there.

It's a twinge in your heart, far more powerful than memory alone. This device isn't a space ship, it s a time machine. It goes backwards and forwards. It takes us to a place where we ache to go again. It's not called the wheel, it's called the Carousel. It lets us travel the way a child travels. Round and around and back home again, to a place where we know we are loved.

Parker was waived due to a physical altercation with a parking attendant in Miami. That Kobe didn't talk to him was probably the reason he wasn't tossed by Lakers.

    From Wiki:

Due to a physical altercation that Parker had with a parking attendant in November 2007, the Miami Heat put him on paid leave to investigate the matter. On March 10, 2008, the Miami Heat officially waived Parker.[8] The Los Angeles Clippers then signed him for the rest of the season on March 12, 2008.[2]
