Well...at least we know we have two All Stars!!!!!!! YES!!!

We are still the most exciting team in the NBA!...we made the Pistons excited too! It's better to watch the Rockets than the boring Pistons.....

ANYWAYS. ROCKETS DON'T MAKE THE PLAYOFFS...WE DEFINITELY HAVE TO FIRE RUDY.

    It's just 3 games...lol...

    Beat Chicago and Beat Memphis!

How many times did Steve Francis bring the ball down the court and shoot it before even passing? And he's the point guard?

Not only that, but when the Rockets start running a play, it turns into an iso about 50% of the time. Francis stops and starts trying to juke out his defender. Then he usually shoots a jumper. I am sick of how Steve plays. I would say well over half of the Rockets shots don't come off designed plays, and they are of course low percentage.

Then I saw how the Pistons play. Very little excess dribbling, very little holding the ball without knowing what to do with it, very few broken plays. There is an economy of motion, no wasted energy, very efficient.

It was Francis vs. the Pistons tonight and it wasn't close.

    OK.

The Pistons are a good team.

Their offense looks so nice and smooth. Their players are all a little more experienced and can all shoot. I like their team...it all depends on their shooting though.

Their defense is excellent and they can take advantage of matchups.....Great Team.

Good luck next game! Watch the Super Bowl instead of the Rockets!

Highly disappointing. Absolutely no fight put up tonight. Virtually no scoring from either the front or the backcourt. Yao has hit the wall. Both Mo and he got into foul trouble so easily. No execution on offense and being outrebounded crushed us. I can put up with losing but there was no effort in this game. There seems to be no plan at all once things start getting tough. Once the guys won against the Lakers it seemed that they thought getting into the playoffs would be easy but it's going to be very hard for them to make it if things don't improve quickly. We need to look for another shooter since Glen Rice is unfit and struggling.

I pick Yao too. Yao should go the team which really need him, such as New York.

first loss, it is because the opponent is a good team; second loss, it is a back-to-back; third loss, it's because we don't have GLEN & EDDIE. fourth loss, it's ???? (Sorry, forgive me for jinxing it).

Don't people get it - Houston never have a consistent game plan??!!

Why does everybody say Yao Ming needs rest or he cannot play more time on the court?

The only time he played the whole second half this season was in Pacers game and he scored 11 points in the fourth Q. After that game he said he felt that he had more energy at the end of game than at the first half.

I think maybe we have to trust him and let him play a little longer on the court.

He said that he was not tired. I trust him.

Today he played fine at the first quarter. He missed two shots but when he was on court he was double teamed and other Rockets had more space to hit good shots. But he played only 13 minutes in the other three quarters and we lost badly in this game.

Well not really depending on their shooting. Their shooters got open shots all night through a good offense system/execution. We shot forced/contested shots all night.

If we look at the stats, Yao didn't play that bad tonight, his shot attempts at least got the foul calls. Strangely enough, his FT percentage is just plummeting, which makes me wonder, what's going on? Maybe too much weight lifting? And if you look at the Rox offense, it definitely will not make play off, the ball is not moving, players are not moving either. Usually just one pass before the shot. What does this say? It says they need a coach, they need coaching, these guys need to play a team sport.

Exactly! The guard oriented offense just plain sucks and the disciplined Detroit defense exposed it as a joke and a farce. A good defender on Stevie turned the game into Stevie Franchise Jumpshooting Night. No penetration, no passing, just Steve's mid-range jumper. Posey's play was the only redeeming thing tonight.

And Houston doesn't need Yao???

If anyone has to go, Cat gets my vote. We need balanced attack. With SF and Cat, that is not very likely to happen. :(

Yao IS tired... even Calvin Murphy said as much when Yao stopped using his legs on his free throws.

I'm pretty sure he was joking there, buddy.

And damn, just damn. I was hoping (and thinking) we'd win at least just 1 of these 3 considering how we played earlier. I wanted it cuz it'd put us close to a 50 win pace... we're only on pace for 46 right now. Hopefully we'll improve. This team is so freakin annoyingly inconsistent.
