Did you watch the game? The few times we gave him the ball at low post. He got fouled. He just didn't make the FTs.

We will make the playoffs. We have just had a few bad games. What about our 4 game losing streak in which we beat the Lakers? It's just a mini slump, but we need a new coach.

Explain to me how the Sacramento Kings
were able to win time and time again (last
year) even when Chris Webber was on the IR?
How long? Almost half the season.

    Keep bringing the excuses...

Uhhh...he barely had any shots. I would rather see Steve shoot than Cuttino getting blocked.

THE PISTONS HAVE THE BEST RECORD AGAINST WESTERN CONFERENCE TEAMS. I'm not surprised. They don't have ANY STARS. STARS...not SUPERSTARS. And they still win. THEY HAVE A GREAT TEAM. I like their team...only thing is...they won't win the championship. They can play like that...but iwll never win the championship.

I'd hit the rookie wall faster/harder if I was running plays all the time for a selfish and/or stupid backcourt. With little or no expectation of substantive and timely touches, why even bother to move? Resignated frustration is a cancer.

Houston's loss is not due to Yao's bad performance, it is Mobley who shoot like crazy let us down. How many times Yao touch and shoot the ball? How many times Yao even try to post ? How many assists Rockets have ? (11 vs 23)

This ball club is controlled by Francis and Mobley, yes, here they are. You will win with them, and you will lose with them.

I thought that Francis played okay. Mobley was pitiful though. He hogged it.

LET THE BIG MEN CONTROL IT THEN. Sure, Yao and Cato and Collier...and Mo Taylor and EDDIE....AND TERENCE MORRIS. They will do a much better job. Just give it to Yao every time. If you haven't noticed, he hasn't been scoring at all when we give the ball to him. Every time we pass it to him...HE MISSES. He is really tired. It's not his fault. He needs conditioning and rest.

WE NEED EDDIE AND GLEN BACK.

Great point! Because they play as a team. When Olajuwon was in his prime, we won games without him because we played as a team. And those teams had half the talent we have now. Talent means nothing when you don't play together, though!

It's so true. We live and die by our backcourt. When they shoot the ball well (like Lakers game), we win. When they don't, we lose. But the sad fact is that we would continue to be a .500 ball club by this way.

We have had a few bad games. What about the real basketball that we played against the Lakers? We have a great shot at the playoffs. Just because we sucked one night doesn't mean that we won't make the playoffs. Chill man. Well I'm out. Cya everybody.

    Give me a break.

    Everybody played bad, including Yao.

Don't try to defelct attention away from Yao's performance. He was terrible, like everyone else on this team.

    He needs to rest.

Most of the games we won this year were on sheer talent, this team has no chemistry. No chemistry No championship.

Too true. I think Steve needs to drive more often rather than shoot. Nobody in the league can guard him on the drive as we saw with Shaq and Kobe. But when he shoots j's all the time that's when we struggle. Cuttino on the other hand needs to just stop. He tries too hard for his own good to impress people. As was stated earlier, we need Rice and Griff back soon! Tough loss to take, but what are you gonna do?:(

    YOU ARE RIGHT.

    They won WITHOUT STOJAKOVIC.

    They won WITHOUT BIBBY.

    They won WITHOUT JACKSON.

They are a very good team. Everyone on the team can play the same offense. Same with New Jersey...but New Jersey does not have as deep of a team. Their offense can work with all players. I like their style of basketball. The problem is...we don't have a good passing point guard like them. And we don't have a great defender who can consistently make his shots like them and know his role. We don't have a Peja Stojakovic who is a really good player. WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING NEAR CHRIS WEBBER. Sure...his former collegemate Maurice Taylor and Eddie Griffin...and TERENCE MORRIS...them 3 together equal the talent of Chris Webber. And we don't have a quick center like them. Their team is VERY deep. We don't have a BOBBY JACKSON who could be a starting point guard and may be better than Bibby. We also don't have a KEON CLARK, who is a good shotblocker. Their team is just too good. Their owners are very committed to their team and they have TREMENDOUS support from their city.....ALWAYS SOLD OUT. Also, Rick Adelman is an excellent coach...although Rudy beat him a couple of times.

THEIR TEAM IS BETTER. We need to hire another assistant coach...:(

We are not going to make the playoffs if we play like this and Glen Rice can't return...and Eddie doesn't feel good...and Yao doesn't make any of his shots.

How can anyone that watched the Game say that Francis played ok!!! The lack of Heart starts with the Leader who is SELFISH and a 7'6'' Center playing pivot out at the 3 point line. This club is out of control. It can only be fixed by either Yao Ming or Francis being Traded. While Francis is the Point Guard we cant have a star post up Big Man they wont work together.

C'mon Rudy lovers, YOU TELL ME THIS TEAM IS WELL COACHED. GREAT EFFORT...REALLY WELL PREPARED. GREAT OFFENSIVE GAME PLAN & EXECUTION

Yao may be tired but he is TOTALLY WASTED in our guard oriented, totally dysfunction selfish offense. And Mobley needs to sit. Start Posey at the 2 and Morris at the three. Mobley could care less about anything but himself and his stats.

It's not the losing, it's HOW WE ARE LOSING.

Get real. We didn't play REAL TEAM BASKETBALL against Lakers either. Just Steve and Cat happened to shoot the ball well that night.
