Unfortunately, I see Griffin having the same offensive problems. He will need to find his shot if he ever wants to really succeed in the NBA.

Forget it, Bradley is far better than Yao. Have you not noticed Bradley did not need to come on till Yao was off last game? Yao is too easy for him to handle, and Bradley is a man who loves a challenge.

Seriously, why are we comparing them in the first place? Each player has his own accord and plays different roles in the league.

A quote from Francis(not the exact words): " The difference between me and Yao is that
he is 7 5' and he is Chinese".

Well, it is quite obvious what is the difference between Yao and Bradley then.

The biggest diffrence is no team is changing their defensive scheme to contain Bradely, teams do it with Yao, that shows respect for what the player can do.

How about this one poly: Bradley will never be an all-star. Yao already is an all-star starter in his rookie season.

What a waste of time picking this thread out of the garbage bin and throw it back to us... Damn it, Yao is an All-Star game starter, who the hell is Bradley?

I have been around these boards since it was clutchcity.com(thanks Will). I was either a member(not often..usually forgot my name and password) or a lurker since 1997. I have never once made derogatory statements unless someone was accosting a newcomer that was only giving his opinion.
    But.......U R A TROLL !!!!!!

I will not seriously respond to this thread, as it is foul and moronic(if thats a word:) )

First off Ming is a all-star starter because of hype, not because he earned it. Nobody in their right mind truly believes he should be starting over Shaq, so please quit trying to throw that up to prove his greatness. Hell right now he should not be starting over Cato on his own team.

Secondly, Ming and Bradley have pretty similar numbers this year as they also compare favorably in rookie seasons. While Ming did dominate Bradley in the 1 on 1 matchup, that is still not saying alot considering that Bradley is way past his prime. If Ming is still around in 12 years I am sure some young center during a hot streak wil dominate him.

Third is the age thing when talking about Ming. Many are quick to make excuses when Ming struggles, talking about he is only 22. That is not considered young by NBA standards anymore. Last year going into the draft word was Battier was solid prospect with not alot of upside because he had maxed out his potential being 22 already. Someone compared Garnett to Ming in rookie seasons, this is when you can say age is a factor. Garnett 18, Ming 22, that is a big differrence. Compare Garnett's stats at 22 to Ming's. Everyone is quick to write off Eddie Griffin as a bust as well as the highschool kids from last year and they are all only 19, 20, yet nobody cuts them any slack.

Fourth, another excuse for Ming is he is tired, well if this is the case we are going to have to deal with this his whole career. The Rockets had to promise he would go home when need be to play ball in China. I disagree with this though. In every job in the world you have to go to work at least 5 days a week all year round and if you are lucky you get a few weeks vacation. In whatever field of work you are in, your body builds the proper muscles and endurance to deal with whatever you do everyday, and there are much harder jobs than playing basketball 2 or 3 times a week. Even if you consider being an athlete is harder, my friend plays pro football and he says the seasons are the gravy, the real work is in the offseason, training 5 to 6 hours a day to improve for the next season. You don't get rest days in the offseason unless you are content being where you are and don't mind seeing your game slowly fall apart.

All this being said, I was totally against drafting Ming. I was pleasantly surprised when Ming started coming on and he started to make a believer out of me, but i do not see him in the holier than thou light many on here do. He is a solid prospect who has flashes and in hindsight he was the best we could get with the pick outside of Amare, but who knew how good he would be this quickly. So by looking at the numbers you could find someone to show he will be great when you put the numbers side by side or someone to show he will be a bust. Let's just see how it plays out and enjoy the team, not just Ming. We are finally a competetive team again, I don't understand all the player bashing on everyone except Ming. He is just another player on the team, and contrary to popular belief he does make mistakes. Not everything he does wrong is someone else's fault. I think he is capable of turning the ball over and missing shots all by himself.

International young players always had more difficult
in their first 1 or 2 years.

Do you understand? From you can compare the first
year of Dirk with Paul Pierce's or Finely's to unserstand it.
