It's funny how you guys are constantly trying to bring in the negative stuff from the past, even when it's not part of the post someone made. Just accept that he was one of the best players in the NBA and what amaru correctly stated was that it will probably take a decade or longer before the team can get another guy with the potential to be scoring champ and multiple all-star. Look at the statement and accept it, don't try to bring in unneccessary stuff that isn't part of the post you're replying to.
Maybe could play with Yao in Shanghai...one last hurrah...wait...they may not get out of the first round...;(
You can't predict the future dude. I believe the Rockets don't need a scoring champion and multiple allstar. It would be nice though. They need a MVP. So if it's a decade for a Tmac on the Rockets, how long will it take to get another HAKEEM OLAJUWON? 5 BILLION YEARS?
tinmac... I need some help getting a grip on this...why are you still such a TOF? The guy was a head case and collected a 20 mil check while sitting at home and basically told the rockets to go **** off. We owe NO loyalty to the guy and personally it disgusts me seeing you defend him time after time over the rockets like that. The rockets are better off without him then they were with him. You can dodge the fact that he was the reason we never made it out of the 1st round all you want but the truth is tracy is a quitter and its no surprise he still hasn't amounted to anything. Also we don't care about the "Prime" T-mac or how he was on par or better than Kobe at one point, it is a myth and it does no good to anybody now. Its pretty obvious that your loyalty lies with the mac and not the rockets and it is sickening. Try rooting for the team and not a player, or an ex- player for that matter. Good riddance.
Probably not talking about Orlando. http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/ORL/2004.html 1 Tracy McGrady F 6-8 210 May 24, 1979 6 the very next year http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/ORL/2005.html 12 Dwight Howard C-F 6-11 240 December 8, 1985 R
Love the Top 10 plays...he made it look so easy. T-mac needed an alpha GOAT baller like Hakeem to play next to. Hakeem would have taken all the pressure, be the focal point and all the accountability. Tracy can play wing man, do his thing and be a triple double threat without the pressure of expectations.
if tmac is half as good as when in his prime, people in china will worship him as if he is the king. and i'm talking about 1000x more ppl than the population of cleveland.
TMac is closer to Francis than Marbury at this point of career. I don't see him doing any good in China.
That sounded mature. Except for the "thru" hahaha  I think it is time to stop resurrecting the Tmac grave. Even you, tinman. As the Rockets said, we are on to a "new age". We should stop focusing on the past decade and the "what ifs?" and instead monitor our rebuilding process.
Dude the Nba season hasn't started. I never focus on what ifs. I try to shut the what if people up with what did or in tmacs case whet didn't.
Yes, the "season" hasn't started. But practices have, preseason is upon us, and there is a lot of film we as fans can look over to and enjoy to have a glimpse on the season. That might be new to you, as you spend all day bashing tmac and his fans and reliving the Dream (which is totally acceptable), but many fans do this regularly. Sometimes, people need to get the "whatif" emotions out. For example, it happens regularly when talking about Grant Hill, Bill Walton, the good ole Rockets with Ralph Sampson, or the Texans last year with Shaub. It is nice to recognize where unfortunate circumstances got in the way of talent. The difference is that the tmac "what ifs" has been machine gunned to death, chopped up into pieces, and run over by multiple tanks from people like you. It is time to let go, and let it Rest In Peace. Even though they might be focusing on the wrong DREAM (moment of silence) in your opinion, let them dream their dream.
So he is not better than anyone in the nba atm?? Thats hard to believe.. He had flashes in atl last year
