    Top 3 for the first year. Decreases from there. It is guaranteed to be a lottery pick for us for the first 4(?) years. Someone should check me on that though.

    That would be crazy if in 2014 we got a Top 2 pick from the Raptors.. Jabari Parker or Wiggins would be fine be me

    In this one game DeRozan already did more complete offensive moves than over the whole last season. He looks like he worked hard this summer.

    Lowry hurt his groin.

    Check Bimathugs twitter.
    If Lowry misses most/all of training camp, it could further increase value of Raptors' first rounder (most likely going to the Rockets).

    Close. It's Top 3 protected in 2013, top 2 protected in 2014 and 2015, top 1 protected in 2016 and 2017, then unprotected in 2018. The pick is also protected 15-30 through 2017 (meaning the Rockets would ONLY get the pick if it's in the lottery during that period), with that downside protection also disappearing in 2018.

    Saw some parts of that game. I just can't stand Rudy Fernandez. He's just a spoil cry baby. Why did he leave the NBA for? I forgot... But anyway, I notice that he's always crying in Portland until they shipped him out, and when he was playing in Denver, I read somewhere that he was unhappy because he didn't get to play his way or the coach was on him or something so he just left the NBA and went back to Real Madrid. Never really like his game anyway. I don't think he's that good of a player but he does flashy things on the court every now and then and shoot a few spot up threes.

    I can't believe Sergio Llull is staying overseas. I really don't understand why he doesn't want to come to the NBA. I mean, being in the NBA is a once in a lifetime opportunity and when you have that chance, at least give it a shot. I really believe that he doesn't want to face the NBA players every single night.

    Question about Raptor pick:
    If Raptors finish outside of bottom 3 this season and they actually win the lottery for #1 overall, do Raptors get to keep that #1 overall?
