Not that I expect any other response other than "Are you serious?" but let's stir up the pot. http://www.robertschoch.com/sphinxcontent.html
Well I'm actually shocked to hear anything other than dismissiveness. Imagine if people actually read up and actually thought rationally about how the pyramids, especially the Great Pyramid was built. They'd know something wasn't right.
Anybody who's watched a few episode of Ancient Aliens featuring 'that guy' is probably more open minded about this kind of stuff. Always enjoyed the geological & engineering evidence presented to support the alternate theory.
So the ancient Egyptians we study about in school adopted their religion from previous civilizations?
On a serious note, I saw a video that said that the Western world leaders today are descendants of ancient Egyptian monarchs who went on exile and spread themselves north from Egypt after their downfall. /takes off aluminum (or is it aluminium?) hat.
I don't know about the Ancient Egypt part but you'd be shocked to learn how many world leaders are related to each other. This is off the top of my head: Eleanor and Franklin D. Roosevelt (BEFORE marriage) John Kerry and George Bush Barack Obama and Dick Cheney George Bush (H.W. and W) and Queen Elizabeth II There's far more than that but that's what I can remember off the top of my head.

Good stuff - I've seen the age of the sphinx theories on the history Channel, maybe it was Discovery a couple of times, but had not seen lean's above post before. Thanks!
There are three great pyramids at Giza and we know exactly how they were built. There are images depicting various stages of their construction and there is a worker's village nearby that was big enough for around twenty thousand people. Not slaves, either...there were actually a ton of paid laborers. How is that a mystery?
I actually assumed Caltex2's quote meant he didn't agree with the article (ie, he agrees with you). Maybe I'm wrong about that.
