I'm attempting to remove xclamps and apply new thermal paste to CPU and GPU. Does anyone have any experience doing this? I've been watching several videos online and think I might be able to do it.

I've done it a few times. Hardest part is removing the x clamps. The fix only usually last me another 6-8 months.

What about the four chips on the other side? I've seen them heat synced with pennies and electric tape.
