Go to Wal-Mart during 3rd shift, and ask if you can have some of the boxes.

The cheapest boxes in town were in the East side when I was in Houston, $50 got you a shower and quality boxes.

Check most big box retailers: Wal-mart, target, sams, costco, Golf galaxy, golfsmith, academy, sports authority, etc.

They should have tons of boxes

You can actually buy boxes at Walmart for cheap. I moved a few months ago and got some there. They were around $1-$2 depending on the size

Back when I was moving all the time, I'd always get free boxes from liquor stores. The boxes are a good size to keep from getting too heavy, sturdy and often have built-in handles.

If you're willing to wait a few days this is the place to buy them. Cheapest you'll find for new ones.
