Republicans Fillibuster Veterans Jobs Corps Bill

    The filibuster would have ended with even a single GOP vote. Rand Paul chose not to vote for cloture, so he is as much to blame as Coburn.

    Actually 5 Republicans did vote to end the filibuster.

    Sen. Scott Brown of Massachusetts, Dean Heller of Nevada, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Maine's Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe.

    Most of them face reelection right now. Except the two Maine Senators.

    Are any of the existing jobs programs for veterans? And if not, is there a reason veterans can't be included in any of the existing jobs programs?

    I think there are actually 5 or 6 active jobs programs for veterans.
