Tracy should go to Orlando, play for veterans minimum and shut Tinman up along the way. :)

The similarity is that they're both Rockets killers...

I was once a huge McGrady fan. I'm not anymore. More indifferent now than anything else.

Basketball-reference gives Hall of Fame odds for McGrady at 58.2% and Baron Davis at 6.7%

Personally, I'm shocked that McGrady is given higher odds than Steve Nash (57.6%), who only won back to back MVPs and 3 first team All NBA nods. (Tracy: 2 first team nods)

When he was healthy I think T-Mac was the best player in the league.

Doesn't really mean much because that list is whack to begin with. Nash is a definite 1st ballot hall of famer. Mcgrady will be lucky to get in but with the low quality of players that get in nowadays he has a chance.

    True. T-Mac's crossroad was 2008.

Why didn't Atlanta keep him for another year? He seemed to play well enough off the bench.

The NBA should expand and create a team somewhere in the midwest solely for 31+ year old has-beens that think they can still dominate. Imagine a team of BDavis, Iverson, Arenas, MerGady, Odom, Sheed... the endless entertainment that team would provide...

    no he wasn't.
no mvps, no championships. just some scoring titles in a weak eastern conference.

    Shaq
    Kobe
    Tim Duncan
    LeBron
    etc etc etc

Pretty sure it was because of him complaining about his limited role. I remember reading about how he was annoyed with the fact that the coach over there did want to give him more minutes. Then again who would want to integrate a player who sucks at talking to the media, doesn't like to play back to back games (even though he says he's 100% healthy), or someone who needs the ball to be effective.

I hope he goes to the Spurs, only because I don't want to buy League Pass this year and I am pretty sure Spurs games play in ATX. I know that I am holding on to the past, and that he isn't half the player he used to be, I know that he has the reputation for being lazy, but I don't care. The guy on one leg and one arm can make some beautiful plays. I love to see him play well, but I don't expect more than 2-5 minutes of quality play.
