Hehe, that Rose facial expression chart makes me laugh every time I've seen it. Always works.

I don't think it's bashing Lin to say that Dragic is, for now, the better player. Dragic's game is more polished, in areas like handle and decision making. That's to be expected though since Dragic has been in the league longer.

Their games seem similar to me. For example, they both have an unusual knack and fondness for splitting the defense when coming off of a screen in a PnR. Sometimes Lin tries to squeeze between the defenders when there's not enough space to do so, but I think that comes back to the issue of being less polished from having less experience.

We will always like the backup PG better when the starter misses time. This is Clutchfans.

I signed up just because of JLIN, and I hope that JLIN will bring me to learn more about Rox and eventually become a Rox fan

and what made you a Rox fan in the first place? not because of a certain player?

LOL, how were the Knicks with one of the highest payrolls in the league? Oh that's right, they were 2 spots ahead of the Rox and they had to give us their 1st round pick because their FO is ****.

I agree with their prediction and I think letting Dragic go over a player option will prove to be one of the worst mistakes in recent Rocket history. This was a young guy, incredibly creative, very hard worker, getting better all the time, that only started like a dozen game and got better in each one.

I was convinced that we'd found a real potential star in Dragic and that we weren't going to have to wait very long for him to develop.

The only thing about it that makes sense to me is that they valued being crappy this year over having Dragic as a part of (at the center of over time I expect) the rebuild. It makes me wonder why they didn't trade Chandler Parsons for some chewed up gum.

I made a comment yesterday about DD and someone left this in my rep -- DDingleberry sighting.

Either someone is ghey for DD or he is obviously still amongst us.

Yup, anyone who played fantasy last season will know why Dragic has been ranked so high. The guy was tearing it up during Lowry's absence.

My statement will likely be a little controversial to be honest. Although I loved Dragics run when Lowry was out I definitely think that Lowry was the better guard. To be fair I also think that Lowry is better than Lin as well. I think that Dragic & Lin are honestly in the same boat. Dragic only has a few starts under his belt also. I know about the great Spurs playoff game but that was in MDA's system & if people use the system argument for Lin then the same has to be applied to Dragic. (FWIW I think the system argument is bogus either you have it or you don't). I will definitely watch a lot of Suns games & I am really excited to see him & Kendall Marshall (who is a great follow on twitter btw) hold down the guard spot in Pheonix.

Lets see how many games his team can win when their best 5 players are-

Dragic, Dudley, Beasley, Scola, & Gortat

Alot of their success if going to rely on how well Beasley does. If Dragic is putting up monster numbers its probably not a good thing for their team.

That being said Gogi might have been my favorite Rocket last year, and Im hoping he does go crazy in Phoenix for many years.

I wouldn't get excited about Lin as a fantasy prospect. I'd group him in the Tony Parker range. If FTM is a category then yeah, Lin would rocket up by at least 1 tier. Dragic looks like a stud. Lowry is probably another option to look at in a later round.

Dragic will do well but like Lin, I don't expect him to keep it up. I see Lowry doing more of the same in toronto as he did here.

I mean...you SAW Dragic's fantasy performance last season, right? He was a top ten fantasy player as a starter. His combination of threes, steals, assists, and percentages makes him an ideal fantasy PG.

Those numbers have little to do with what contract he deserves, so no point in trying to shoehorn fantasy basketball into that discussion. Mike Conley was a better fantasy player than Kobe Bryant or Derrick Rose last year. Doesn't mean anyone's making that argument in real life.

Dwayne Casey has a reputation of being a very hard nosed coach just like McHale. He probably wont get alont with Lowry at all.

Lowry's stats should then be through the roof!!

This is so stupid. One of the reasons I hate fantasy sports. Huge difference between fantasy basketball and real basketball. Fantasy is based solely on stats and nothing more.
