I don't understand, if we have the NBA.com TV CHANNEL, what would cause it not to come on?

    Windandsea,

You said that "My NBA TV channel has been replaced by NBA League Pass Preview for two weeks."

    Two weeks?

Does that mean that we will get back NBA TV?

The drive isnt bad since we can take the 110 all the way to Pasadena. Even in rush hour, it takes 20 mins.. I work on S. Figueroa. Where are you at? Drop me a email at amnesia1975@hotmail.com

Dude, I am at work right now in Agoura Hills. It's going to take me around 4 to 5 hours to get to Pasadena, hehehe. Have you called that place to check if they have Direct TV or cable, it seems like the game iis going to be on DTV, but not on cable. Good luck, man. BTW, like your email handle, seems we are about same age.

    DaDakota,

I guarantee the Rockets will not be shown on 430, because it is the same channel as channel 54. (I'm assuming you have digital cable)

Hou at Dallas is out of market here in austin. And digital cable subscribers are screwed because NBA TV picked up this game to show nationally. Of cousre, digital cable subscribers dont get NBA TV anymore. Truly a criminal act by the NBA.

Come on out to aussies bud, I'd like to see you again.

    Granville,

Do you have digital cable or a dish? It's the digital cable folks that are getting screwed, it seems.

Yes..that is correct...all those with DirecTV NBA League Pass will get the game..all those with Digital Cable NBA League Pass..will not get the game.. seems crappy to me but .. I sure am glad I have the Satellite..

PS: For all those considering..Satellite is SO much better than cable anyways..the picture is much better and the sound is much clearer..it's worth it..you get more channels..especially if you have good friends!

    :)

What is Satellite? Do you have the website of them? Since there are 4 more Rockets games that will show on NBA TV, I think maybe I need to transfer to Satellite.

For DirecTV, I can get y'all this card for $250... it gives you all the packages... the adult channels, all the movie channels, EVERY sports package, and no monthy payments... its illegal but hell, who will ever catch you

windandsea, what you are seeing is the greed of the NBA. I'm sitting watching where the NBA TV channel used to be and they are constantly running ads saying "Watch the HOTTEST games on League Pass!!".

Is there a hotter game on tonight???
    I don't think so.

So who took the NBA TV channel from the digital cable subscribers? I called my cable company and they didn't have any clue.

After paying out the whazzzooo for the Digital Cable League Pass can anyone give me a good reason why I shouldn't be extremely angry right now. Sounds like there are 7 games I won't be able to watch out of 82. The two games in San Antonio that are blacked out in Austin (even on League Pass) and now 5 games that are on NBA TV. The price per game is headed up.

    What I thought I was getting - $160/82 games = $1.95 per game
    What I got - $160/75 games = $2.13 per game

Since I only get to watch 3 or 4 out of every 5 games for one reason or another, the price should actually be higher than that.

I'm sure that I will find out more irritating things as the season goes on.

Does anyone have a ****ing radio link? Pardon my French, but I'm ****ing pissed off right now. I'm missing a game because the NBA is promoting something I already paid for.

Not fair. Austin is neither a part of the Houston or Dallas market. Bullcrap.
