YAO has played ALOT of games for the past 12 months. One of the biggest reason that he has not been doing well lately is because he has OVER-WORKED!

He is now almost 300lbs and he is only going to get bigger and stronger. Everyone knows guys that are 7'5'' and 300+lbs is going to have knee problems sooner or later.

If they keep playing him everygame it's only going to hurt YAO physically. But again, I don't see the possiblility of resting YAO for over 2 weeks otherwise we are sure going to miss the playoffs.

What can we do to rest YAO and at the same time make the playoff??? any ideas??

Absolutely nothing can be done. Yao Ming is a professional, paid to play whenever humanly possible. The only way he goes out is if he gets injured.

Having said that, the best solution is to get big leads and reduce the number of minutes the starters play.

Bring him off the bench or better yet don't play him the whole fourth quarter of every game.:)
