I've noticed other players dribbling and shooting. Kobe also does these things. Those players must be modeling their games after Kobe, the GOAT.

2 GIFS That Prove Jeremy Lamb Has Stolen Everything From Tracy Mcgrady

    ● Why do you think Jeremy chose to be born with long arms and sleepy eyes.
    ● He has already stolen his jersey number.
    ● Sorry guise, but obviously we will never make it out of the second round as long as Lamb is on the team
    ● Just wait till we play in Toronto......
    ● Dead serious
    :p

In a game of basketball it's not about originality. It's about putting the ball in the basket in any way possible. If I see somebody pull off something that is pretty much unstoppable I sure as hell am going to try to imitate that.

I wish someone would copy Kareem's skyhook. I've always been puzzled why no one else has tried to adopt the most unstoppable shot in the history of basketball.

Also, the Bosh-raptor comparison was hilarious.

I contest the exact opposite in fact. Phil Jackson, weary of the success of the Chicago Bulls invests time, energy and money into a constructing a time machine. Time travel is dangerous, so he enlists his most physically fit basketball player to go into the future and see what moves will revolutionize the game. Michael Jordan, up to the challenge goes into the future and becomes KB24's biggest fan. Then, using his knowledge Jordan comes back to the past and attempts to recreate KB24's greatness. A random aside, Jordan also found out of the Rocket's championship's and out of fear of facing Dream he decides to sit out the first season of Houston's historic championships. The End...?

Posted that in the other thread.

    Identical plays... that's fine.

But this mimicking right here just really something I don't get.

Ripping him for trying to emulate the GOAT? Others would do it if they could. He's no Jordan, but he's damn close.

Basketball players aspire to hoop like MJ, baseball players wants to crush like Ken Griffey Jr. or cover center like Mays, football players try to shake LBs and DBs like Barry Sanders and effortlessly toss TDs like Manning... why roast them for balling like their heroes and reaching the pinnacle of their respective sports?

Kobe's a great player, a sure-fire HOF'er. Don't diminish his legacy by comparing him to the unquestionable GOAT. This is a Rockets board, not Lakersground. No need to go out of your way to trash KB. I'm not a fan... he's a cold-blooded assassin and has ripped our hearts out far too many times, but I respect his game. He's one of the top players of this generation, hands down.

Give it up. It's not worth it. He's obviously no MJ but who is?
