Who cares? It was a stupid film that was causing hostility overseas and endangering American lives. There is nothing wrong with our diplomats expressing contempt over the film's contents. To confuse this with some kind of free speech issue is just dumb. Your need to politicize anything and everything is really aggravating. There was one valid criticism brought up regarding the Obama administration's handling of this, and that's the lack of military security at the facility attacked in Libya. I think its absolutely fair to call them out on that. But this trumped-up controversy over that embassy statement is just more bull**** from you that's emblematic of what's wrong with American politics today.

The film was contemptible, and it was giving these islamobots an excuse (in their minds -- not a justification) to riot in a manner that was endangering american lives. Why shouldn't the embassy, which understandably would want to quell the fervor, issue a statement that makes it clear the film is not representative of US position on Islam? Why should they apologize over doing so?
