The American consulate in Egypt issued a statement condemning the film as an abuse of freedom of speech and offensive to Muslims, BEFORE THE PROTEST STARTED. 2. The White House immediately disavowed the statement. 3. THEN the protest started, after the Egyptian consulate had sent most of its staff home as a precautionary measure. 4. A similar protest then follows afterwards in Libya. 5. Al Qaeda terrorists use the protest as a diversion to carry out an assassination of a United States diplomat. While this is happening, Mitt Romney opens his idiot mouth and accuses President Obama of "apologizing". 6. The true timeline of events is discovered, and Romney, finding himself caught in a truly embarrassing hole, opts to double down and keep digging. Now that you've been informed, let's hope you can arrange your brain cells well enough to come up with a better response.
