Last year, a bad night against San Antonio would have been us getting blown out by 20+. A bad night against San Antonio this year is us losing by 5 points. Just a thought in case some people are harping about the loss...

I think the Rockets played a very encouraging game aginst the spurs tonight. The defense was there once again, and the bench play was phenomenal. All we needed was a little bit of officiating to go our way, and we could have won this one.

    Go Rockets!! :)

Another way of looking at it is that our SECOND TEAM almost beat the Spurs!

So what if we lost? While some fans can complain, we didn't hear a single word of dissent or dissatisfaction from the starters themselves.

With this sort of depth and chemistry, this team's got a bright bright future ahead of it!

I was thinking the same thing. Francis and Mobley stink it up. The Spurs who are one of the worst free throw shooting teams shoot lights out and we still had a chance. I think the tide is changing in our rivaly. I don't think they can match our athletism at most positions.

if steve or cat had even close to just an average game we win hands down. that's the way things work in the nba but it's definitely not a loss that we should feel ashamed about. it's clear that this rockets team is much much better than we've seen in a long time.
