This is for the NBA League Pass viewers. I've had NBA League Pass for this season and last season. Last season I seen alot of games they had with BIll Worrel and Calvin Murphy. This season I have seen them 6-7 times. Whats up with that? They're the best commentators in the LEAGUE! Everyone else I listen to (especially the other night against the Suns... the Suns announcers, they looked EXACTLY like Porky Pig and Elma Fud...) make You go to sleep!!!!!! I'm tired of tuning in to every game and and hearing other teams commentators BLAST the Rockets the entire game.

NBALP prefers to use FSN broadcasts. The Rockets-originated broadcasts (ie: Bill and Calvin) are all OTA (KNWS or KHWB) this season. That means League Pass broadcasts will be the "opposing commentators" more often than not.

Bill and Calvin are employees of the Rockets. They have no say in where the broadcasts air.

The Rockets and Fox Sports could not come to an agreement for this season, with the NBALP thing being an unhappy side-effect. I'm sure the organization would rather have their broadcasts going around the country, but the actual value (in dollars) of that preference is probably very little.

Tim could elaborate if he so chooses, but I don't think there is much else to say...

I was mad as crap. but I found this. It's on the main NBA TV channel opposed to on one of the other outlet NBA.COM TV channels. So as long as you have NBA TV, you're good to go.

    GO ROCKETS!!!!

On DirecTV, channels 721-723 are the free preview channels. I'm not sure if that is still going on or not. But either way the Rockets game comes on 720 which is NBA.com TV

I can't stand the Spurs announcer, it's one thing to complain about a bad call, it's another thing to do it every single play! He even incorporates it into his play-call, saying things like:

"Francis travels through the lane and scores!"

"Rose draws the charge and Taylor gets two!"

"Cato goaltends the shot and the Rockets are on the break!"

Listening to him, you would think the opposing team turned over the ball or commited a foul on every single possesion. It's annoying.

Amen. I think that I have only seen 2 games with Bill and Calvin. It is painful to sit and listen to these other guys who are just plain stupid. At least Calvin is a true student of the game. And besides, no one can dress like the Murph!!!

Yeah, I may not notice it as much with Bill & Calvin, but it seems like other teams' announcers have the hardest time keeping our players straight. There were at least three times yesterday where they confused Posey and Eggie.
