I love the 70s-90s and the Current logo a great deal. I don't hate the pin stripes like some do but I understand why the look and years that followed the change make some antagonistic toward it. Honest, I don't remember seeing the older ones, but I would LOVE to see a variation of the original San Diego logo in current Rockets or Mustard Yellow-Red colors as either a new logo or a throwback. The Cartoon man however is horrible.
Championship logo as a logo itself is inept, doesn't actually depict a Rocket. Pyjama era logo for me, jerseys may not have been to everyones taste, but the logo was sweet...
Off topic but watching the hall of fame ceremonies I noticed that the championship logo was displayed throughout the venue. I thought maybe it was a retro thing until I realized that current logos were being used for other teams. Fingers crossed.
Look at every modern take on old logos around the league "pistons, warriors, jazz. etc). We can't simply bring back the old logo and unis. The championship logo needs to be tweaked. That's why i voted for colour change iwth old logo (almost no one did). I think we should use our current Red and Silver colour scheme, but with the old championship logo and lettering. We'd look mean!!! seriously, the mustard looks bad. CFers only like it because it signifies the title, but it actually looks bad. too much McDonald's. I do really like the title year's font and classic round neck cut. We need that back, but please don't bring back the mustard too. We already have it in our alternate unis, and it looks like they're going to take our order of a big mac.
Championship jersey hands down. The cartoon logo made the team look like a joke. This current logo is basically kissing the rear of the toyota symbol. Go back to ketchup and mustard.
