This film was directed by the team of CBS 60 minutes - Jeremy Lin Story that will be released in the Fall. The CBS team follows Lin's Asia trip to document Lin's Story. This little clip is just a warm up to promote the CBS 60 minutes - Jeremy Lin Story.

Agree, nothing wrong with educating people about other countries. Lin has open many people's eyes to the Asian and Asian American community. Read a comment on one of Lin's youtube video by a black man saying he's use to be racist about Asians, without really knowing them, and only liked their food, but now he's changed due to Lin. One girl on twitter said the one person she'd like to thank was Lin because through him she discover a certain Korean American singer based in Korea and from there learn about other Asian singers.

However, hopefully these race topics will cease as the season begins, but right there's not much to discuss.

I would agree if the discussions were sensible. But in actuality, its ignorant Americans or people in China/Taiwan who don't have a good grasp of racial relations in the US. If the people talking were knowledgeable and had a good grasp of history, I would be all for it. But obviously, this is a bball forum - grasp of history/culture/international relations is a bit lacking, especially from the most vocal.
