does anyone know the status on eddie griffin?

to me that is a huge key to winning this game. timmy d will NOT want to come out and guard eddie, so if he is feeling 100% and hitting the 3, the spurs will have problems.

    -Yao after playing against Shaq.

"It gave me great encouragement. I felt like I was underwater for a long time and now I can finally breathe."

-Yao in the interview by his best buddy Yang Yi after his first meeting with Shaq.

"In two days, we will face the Spurs, but after defending Shaq, it doesn't matter who else I guard now.

-Yao on facing Duncan and Robinson again tonight.

"I think I'm a little more adjusted because of the experience I have," Yao said of the demands this week. "I think I have a little more of a feel for having played people before.

    Yao will be alright.

No, eddie shooting threes, no dont bring out my nightmares.
Seriously, Eddie has the talent, but he needs to have confidence. I hope he can make some threes tonight.

This brings me up with a question. Has a player in the NBA ever a quintuple double before? If not who was pretty closed of getting it?

no one's done it yet. however in hakeem's quad double game he was, i believe, 2 steals away from making it a quint double.

    I have the worst luck!!!

    Damnit...

I games (Spurs, and dallas) are on FSSW, and i have that...but right now it isnt working....Well...maybe i can see the dallas game on the local channel...(dal)

    GO ROCKS!!!

1.) In the one we need YAO to be aggressive
2.) Dunkin is going to get his 20+pt game no matter what a team does. So we must keep other players like parker in check. DO NOT LET THE SCRUBS HAVE A BIG GAME.
3.) Battle of the Guards. GO STEVIE...and MOBES.
We need YAO STEVIE AND MOBES to work together like the last game.

    Rocks: 82
    Spurs: 76

It is a very tough game. Psych influnces both team a lot. Rockets will have less desire to win this game than Spurs do; Road game for the rockets; and Ming will not dominate like last time most likely. SO I would say Rocket lose this one. If they win next two, everybody may think the time in 94, 95, if they lost next two, they are still in hunting a spot of playoff. Regarding their lack of chemistry and immature, I think they belong to the latter, at thsi stage.

The Rockets will add to their "not winning" streak today.

    Rockets 101
    Spurs 98

    Go Rockets!!:)

Could these refs be any crappier? Typical 'Spurs' game.
