Hi, are there any D.C. area Rockets fans?

If you look at my registration info, you know I've been on this site for a while. I moved from Houston to Austin then last year to Washington D.C.. I want to go to the Rockets-Wizards game (hope I can still get tickets), but I have a question:

Can you bring a semi-professional camera (digital SLR to be exact) to the MCI center? I know some arenas have restrictions on what kind of camera you can bring to the game. I hope I can get some decent pictures (and share them with y'all).

    Thanks,
    Sailor

Hi. I grew up in dc but now living in houston. they won't let you get in with a camera, but i've smuggled them in before (i.e. tape it to your stmach and wear a jacket). pics were pretty good. just beware - mci traffic is horrendous. esp. after the game in the parking lot.

Sorry, I never tried to bring a camera, so I can't help you.

As for the traffic...ride the metro.

You can't bring a camera AT ALL? So how come we always see flashes going off from the stands in games?

.. Yeah I will ride the metro, can stop in Chinatown for some wonton soup before the game too :D

    Thanks for the info.

Security isn't that tight at MCI. You could probably get away with it if you are careful.
