Bill Clinton's prepared remarks last night were 3,136 words but his speech as delivered was 5,895 words.

I like that people are paying attention to "fact check" style reporting now, but it's a shame that editorial writers are now referring to their own editorializing as a "fact check."

Sure, he's a great speaker. But you know who else was a great speaker?

    ADOLF HITLER.

I think bigtexxx just took ima_drummer2k's post seriously.

Oh well, you know what they say: the simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps.

Republicans complaining about Dems dazzled by a good speaker need to note the fact that their party nominated and cheered for Sarah Palin.

    No.

But he can and should hit the campaign trail like he's running. Bill needs to be in the district of every contested Senate and Congressional race; and camped out in the swing states.

li'l t is so flabbergasted after Clinton's speech, he can't even recognize when he's being mocked.

t, I think it's time to post some more weather reports. It's safer.

Romney camp sure don't know how to react to Bill:

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...to-undermine-clinton-support-obama-in-new-ad/

Released an ad (likely made before hearing what Bill said) mentioning nothing substantive about policy discussed in the speech, but instead making a point that even Fox News had to say was a non sequitur: that you should not listen to Clinton now because in 2008, he called Obama's attack on Hillary's Iraq War position "a fairy tale."

President Clinton managed to deliver a policy wonk infused ass kicking. I'm not sure I had ever seen one of those before.

Actually the "fact checkers" did make this point when they wrote it up in long form when Romney told the same lie ....and in short form, in this very sentence you quoted:

And it is fact checking to say that when somebody says something is x, but is simultaneously, at that very same moment in time, calling it Y, they are probably trying to deceive you - that' not editorializing, it's called doing your actual job.
