Sellin my Yaz Alto Sax bought for $1,250 USD (not including tax). Comes with case and cleaning kit. Everything is spotless and still inside wrapping. I played it once and never have time for it. Currently in Corpus Christi.

Asking for: $1,100 (will not go lower. It is literally brand new)

    No scratches or marks

If interest in a pic reply to post. Thank you

The bubble on Yaz Alto Saxs burst about a year ago, you'll never get that asking price in todays economy. How about three fiddy?

What the **** is a Yaz? Do you mean Yamaha? Like a YAS-23 or YAS-32?

You're probably not going to find a market for it here. I'm the only sax player I know of on the BBS and I don't need any more horns. Better to try eBay or Craigslist. You'll probably have to cave on your price too. I don't care if you've only played it once, it loses value once it leaves the store. If you're too close to the retail price, people will rather buy it new from a shop like Woodwind and Brasswind where they have a warranty and an option to return it if they don't like it. Even it's virtually new, it's still used and you can get well maintained used Yamaha for a few hundred. A like new used one would probably have to be at least a few hundred below retail in order to have a decent chance of selling. Not that you can't necessarily sell it for what you're asking, but it's unlikely. You'd actually have much better success if you tried to trade it for something of equal value.

Not quite the only one. I currently own a S80 and a black and gold LA Sax, I play the piano far more than the sax now however.

    Good luck selling your horn.

Let's say someone was to buy it, and that someone was to attempt to play "Yakkity Sax" or "The Benny Hill Theme" on it. How successful do you think he would be on his first attempt?
