I recently watched the first 6 episodes of season 1 and so far, so good. Reminds me a little of Human Target, though not nearly as good. Anybody else here like it? Please comment without spoilers.
Its one of my favorite on the big networks. I find the two main characters a bit dry, but the story lines are pretty decent. I wonder how long they can keep it up w/out becoming too repetitive.
I like the show. I did not find the lead characters dry. I think they are great characters. The show does remind me of Human target. Which is good since i liked that show also.
It's one of the few current shows I try to watch regularly. I've never seen a minute of Human Target. From the commercials it seemed like a flashy, less serious type of show so I didn't bother but maybe I'll check it out.
I have been trying to catch up on this show as well the Human Target was one of my fav shows Rocket River Guerrero!
Unfortunately, there is no equivalent to Guerrero but now I'm officially hooked. Just watched episode 9 (Get Carter) and this thing is on a roll. Hope it keeps going this strong the whole season. RR, take my word for it: Christopher Chance would approve of Jim Caviezel's John Reese. With Michael Emerson, I still can't get Lost out of my mind but he's growing on me. For now, Caviezel's baaad man is enough to carry this show.
One of the best shows going on TV today. LOVE IT! The pilot episode was freaking awesome! Jim Caviezel is awesome in this show. Love his "quiet intensity."
This is an excellent show and I'm looking forward to the second season. Despite it being a procedural, so far it's avoided the problem of every episode feeling the same.
Just finished season 1. This might be my favorite show. It was rock solid for 23 consecutive episodes. The finale was awesome.
Damn this show is great. Initially I thought it would just be an 'adventure of the week' thing, which it was good at. But they really expanded the world and multiple, continuous story lines. I'll have to go back and watch some prior episodes because I've missed a few this season and not totally following the story.
The episode "Relevance" that aired in February, may be the best episode of Broadcast TV I've seen in the last few years. The irony of the episode is that the main characters are barely in it.
Yeah this has been my favorite show running since episode 1 of last season. For me personally I like the fact that although the show is "fiction" it has an element of reality to it. There is definitely a large part of this show that I can see totally happening in real life.... <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Co3KKvRoBd8?hl=en_US&start=1;version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Co3KKvRoBd8?hl=en_US&&start=1;version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
ONe of my favorite actors from lost sucked me into this. Even worse than fringe, but still watchable. Luckily my set's discs were defective (nib!), so I returned & bailed. Not looking back.
This is one of my favorite shows. its the little details that make me appreciate the show and allows me to over look some of the far fetched things in the show.
Brief description? I'm confused because I missed some episodes, and some of the episodes I do catch are reruns and it's out of order for me.
It's like a much more realistic interpretation of a super hero from the comic books. I liken it to Batman. Reese is Batman. Finch is Alfred w/ way more responsibility. Carter is the closest thing to Commissioner Gordon. And the computer thing reminds me of the end of The Dark Knight. I'm really impressed where the writers have taken the show in season 2, it's pretty ambitious.
I love this show, it really is like a comic, considering that Christopher Nolan's brother created the show, the Batman comparisons ring true. I also love the "as a matter of fact" things the show throws out there like the cia is in the drug business, that a big company Rylatech (kind of like Cisco) feeds info to the chinese, etc.. Season 2 was great, really like where this is going, the machine is too smart and has a few tricks up it's sleeve.
