I am no basketball expert, so I hope somebody else who also listened to the show gives a better explanation than me. In my limited understanding, Rudy said that Yao tends to roll straight to the baseline towards a player who is approaching the ballhandler (Is this correct?? ) Then Rudy went on saying Yao needs to improve his rolling movement a bit, and when Yao is able to do that, we all would see more pass to Yao in pick and roll set.
True. But at the draft time nobody really knows how good those people are. Everybody takes a risk in drafting players. Rudy does not totally know how good Amare is or how good Yao is. I don't know, maybe it's just me who feels that way.
Thanks edc this is great for us fans that are out of town. I don't mind the commercials they bring back memories of growing up and living in Houston.
DD, I got my copy in the mail last night! It looks like a great game, but I may not get to it for a few weeks. I picked up another game from EB and I couldn't resist adding Conquest. B
It's never too early to start recruiting. Perhaps when Amare's rookie contract expires, he'll be looking for a change of scenery. Or maybe he'll want to force a trade earlier ... who knows?
I'm sorry I didn't read it properly. I'm glad Taylor was available for the game against the Lakers. Thanks for correcting me SJC.
