I fully expect one of MIA, LAL, OKC, SAS, or BOS to win the title next season and the only reason I put in the last two was to make it an overwhelming expectation. I really expect one of MIA, LAL, OKC to win it all next season.

spurs benefited greatly by having a short season last year. They are a year older and now have to play the whole season to get to playoffs. Remember how old timmy looked last time he was in the playoffs after a whole season TWO years ago? i dont think there is anyway you can mention them in the same breath as thunder, heat, lakers. Another team I am intrigued by are the nets. They have solid 4 players in joe johnson, williams, lopez, wallace and humpries is not bad either. I think wallace and johnson can present a good defensive challenge against wade and lebron.

Lakers big 4 is like the downgraded version 2004 big 4.

Lakers always gets destroyed by fast PGs and it certainly isn't going to change with Nash's defense.

    "downgraded?" What?

    Gasol > Malone
    Nash > Payton

Dwight and Kobe are still at the top of their positions. And this team has a bench.

If they mesh, this team is as stacked as some of the best teams in histories. You have FOUR Hall of Famers playing on the same team that are technically still playing at a HOF level if they play well, which they all can.

The best defender against fast PGs by far is Dwight Howard
