On a night where Marbury scored 44 points, 11 assists, and 4 rebounds, Steve Francis was just that much better (44 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds).

On a night where Marbury defeated the best team this season, Francis defeated the best team of the last 3 seasons.

On a night where Marbury wowed the home crowd, Francis wowed multiple nations.

Along the way, Steve Francis probably just picked up a few million new fans - and that's only in the US. Imagine how many he'll now get from China.

Who will be the starting PG in the West for the next several years?

    It's not even close man.

To be fair, Marbury had zero turnovers...I think Francis had seven. Also, again to be fair, Marbury only had 41. :)

Yeah, I was just mesmerized by Steve's 44 that I gave Marbury 3 extra points. I couldnt edit but I figured some smart ass would just correct me :p

This reminds me when Rickey Henderson broke the all time SB record and declared himself "the greatest" . Later that night, Nolan Ryan threw his 7th No Hitter and stole the spotlight.

Maybe Steve will mail Stephon a autographed VCR tape of last night's nationally televised game so that he will have something entertaining to watch during the All-star weekend.

Anybody who thinks Francis was better last night must be seriously r****ded.

Marbury had 41 points 11 assists 4 rebounds ZERO turnover in 4 quarters against the league's best team.

Dallas may have the leagues best record, but the Lakers are the three-time defending champs, have a much better defense and have this presence in the Middle named Shaq.

Who does Dallas have in the middle? Oh yeah, Raef Lafrenz and Shawn Bradley. My point exactly.

Marbury had a huge night, nothing needs to be taken away from that. But Francis was unconsious and he single-handedly won that game for us last night.

You know, I gotta say, I didn't mind the 7 tos. Granted I was drunk, but alot of them were of the missed ally-oop variety and just trying to make things happen. He didn't seem as careless. Also, the guy is clutch. How many last second 3s has he hit to end a quarter.

Anybody that knows ANYTHING about basketball knows Steve line against the Lakers defense is a vastly different feat than Stephon's against the Mavs matador defense. I give you that Stephon is lucky to have a nice little mini-vacation soon while Steve will have to start an extra game with all the other all-stars. Poor Steve will have to bear that extra game.

I can safely say I'm not r****ded, and Francis did have a better game than Marbury. Francis won in points, had the same number of assists and more rebounds.

Francis may have had more turnovers, but most weren't careless, and the Lakers with Shaq are a better defensive team than the Mavs.

If you think that Marbury's line against the Mavs was greater than the 'Franchise's' line against the World Champions, you must be smoking. Dallas has never played DEFENSE and they still dont now. Marbury was running down the lane on Bradley and LaFrentz all night while Steve battled the SHAQ DaddY all night in the lane. Steve straight worked KOBE who could not control or contain the Franchise. :) :D

And Francis hit the biggest shot of the either game sending his team into overtime.

With all the media pressure at the Compaq Center, Francis played like a superSTAR! And yes I said SUPERstar, Francis is better and will continue to get better than Marbury! Marbury's comments the other night just shows you how much of an idiot Marbury is! Jealousy Man, Jealousy! Don't be a hater!

Marbury also cried like a little b**** a couple of years ago when he was a senior in high school at the press conference announcing he would be attending georgia tech.

    All Stars don't cry.

They both had huge nights vs. two great teams. But the reason Stevie had such a great night is because he just kept attacking the hoop and allmost fouled out the whole laker team. I have never see a player take over a game like that, and to top it off he hit the 3 pointer the sent us to overtime. He was playing Jordan like last night.

Did he hit a 3 to send it into overtime?

Did he dish the winning assist?

Did he do in all in front of a WORLDWIDE audience?

You are the r****ded one homey.

Hakeem cried when UH didn't win the championships while he was there. I do believe Marbury is a good player but the guy has got to lose the attitude and focus on leading his team to glory, not to the lottery because of his ego.

But back to the point, I think a r****d could easily realise who had the better game out of Marbury and Francis.... no question. Stevie had all sorts of double, triple and quadruple teaming on him once he got near the paint. That spinning shot he made when he was fouled was unbelievable, if it doesn't make top 10 countdown I will consider myself r****ded...... HOW GUTSY WAS THAT SHOT BY STEVE!?!?!? I love this game! :)
