Crowd was great...easily the best since the playoff years. A lot of banners. One that stood out:

Chance's performance was great. I especially liked the Yao Ming fan club as a background. I don't know how much they practiced, but they almost looked like something out of MTV. The atmosphere was by far the best I've seen at Compaq. Of course, I've never gone to a playoff game.

There were a significant number of fans with Kobe and Laker paraphanalia in my section 128. Kobe spent an incredible amount of time whining to the officials.

I got a call about 6:30 pm from the envious people who I split a 12 game mini season with, as I had this game! They told me some guy was supposedly offered $1900 on ebay for tickets not that much better than mine Being a liberal caring guy, I did offer to sell them the tickets for only $1,000. :)

Yeah, there was a skanky biotch sitting behind us that had on a Kobe shirt. She kept yelling and standing up everytime Kobe touched the ball. Sometime during the third quarter, someone behind her screamed "Sit down, b!tch!"

She was mostly quiet after that.

Another question for those at the game:

Did anyone else see the way that ******* Rick Fox walked off the court after his 6th foul at the end of the game? Our whole section was screaming for him to get his punk ass on the bench!

I heard Matt Jackson on 610 talking about someone on his Rockets postgame show. He said she had her jersey tied up like a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and all of her 200 lbs of fat were rolling out. Is that the same gal you are talking about?

There were alot of lakers fans there last night. They were very annoying.

The noise level was incredible. Remingds me of the good years when you couldn't hear yourself scream. Everyone was standing during overtime. It was really awesome. I attribute it partiallly to Yao . He really got the crowd going in the first 3 minutes.

I think that skank was sitting on the floor behind the basket on the visitor's side of the court.

The game was great, and the crowd was loud and the sellout was cool and Chance's performance was awesome...

BUT, too many rich people who didn't know squat about basketball. I came really close to turnign around adn smackign the woman sitting next to me as she just kept yelling "Shoot it, shoot it" in a nasal-y Minnesota accent over and over. Just one of hte many fans who attended who probably haven't seen a Rocket's game all season. Oh well, at some of the prices, I guess you have to get a lot of that.

The game was great. A little dissapointing though as far as the crowd goes, at least in my section. We obtained some tickets in Section 107 which were badass seats, but most of the people around us looked like middle-aged yuppies that didn't care much about basketball. Me and buddy were yelling througout the game and going nuts, and it seemed like it bothered some of the crowd around us. But there also were some good fans near us....One guy bought my friend a beer, cause everytime Shaq was at the line my buddy would yell out "Hey Shaq, you still suck!!!" :D

Oh Yeah! I saw that sign too! Great going! Were you the one that asked what kind of sign to make for the game? I remember there was a post like that. BTW, you should have also wrote "Sportscenter is Next!". You would've gotten on TV twice! :D

    The crowd was great.

First it was packed. This was my third sell out this year, but the first that had no empty rows. I can't explain why there are blank rows at "sold out" games, just telling what I saw.

Two, there was a buzz in the air from start to finish.

Three, people actually did stant up at many parts of the game. A very rare occurance at Rocket games.

Four, everybody stayed till the end.

If you are whining becasue other fans don't act the way you do, then you can cry along with Phil and Kobe.
