I personally have a problem with a GM tanking in order to build the team back up without regard for breaking all the bad records in the process even if it takes longer to rebuild (there are no guarantees in rebuilding anyway as far as what type of team we will have when they are done). I'd like to punch Jim Crane in the nose and then I would feel a little better.
The reason Crane/Luhnow (or any other sensible owner/GM who took over after Drayton's slow and steady destruction of the farm system) are in this position is completely on McLane. He's the guy that deserves your anger. The necessity and degree of what is happening now is the direct result of the extreme neglect and deterioration of our farm system. Extremes lead to extremes. Thank the grocer for this mess.
