You know, I was JUST starting to have my doubts on picking up Lin. Now he's assured to be a superstar, thanks E!SPN.

If you're going to say something stupid, at least have the courage to use your real account.

Felton has to play in Lin shadow. It was between Lin and him on who would be back in NY. Pressure on Felton to produce.

Um, what exactly did we stake on Lin? We got him for "free", we didn't trade any asset for him, in fact judging from what happened it seems like the Rox actually got assets from the Lin signing (via trading the departing Camby for 2nd round picks and filler).

His contract at 8M is par for the course, below average pgs like Felton got 6M and average pgs like Conley JR got 9M a year, and this is without Linsanity coming into play. Even his averages don't look like much on paper, you think Lin won't be able to come close to 14 ppg and 6 assists?

Anyway a lot of people may have high expectations off him, but to me there is no risk involved at all if Lin doesn't pan out. Hell, the other thread is saying the Chinese market is starting to sponsor the Rox again, it seems to me that for the Rox org they already made a profit out of the Lin signing, everything else is gravy.

PS: Dolan and his NY buddies must be kicking themselves. NY stock goes down 100M, now sponsors are coming to Houston again. Fail on top of Fail!

This is just the kind of fuel a kid like Lin will use as incentive to be even better than expected.
