As horrible as a civil war would be, one good effect is that idiots like this would be ousted from our political landscape. It would weed out a bunch of crazies that thought civil war was something this country needed to save it from Obama.

    Damn!

And here I thought he was just making sure Lubbock was ready for the coming zombie apocalypse. I mean he doesn't know it will happen, but it might; as Lubbock’s emergency management director it's his responsibility to be ready for anything.

How would a modern day civil war work out? I imagine it be chaos with multiple sides and racial fighting. A cross between yugoslavia, the LA riots, the Russian Revolution and the Spanish Civil War. It be madness

May be YOUR point as you satisfy yourself. I forgot, this thread isn't about the actual topic, but your glee at another opportunity to talk amongst yourselves.

Simple answer as in Yes or No? And what does that have to do with this thread? You're just like the media, looking for other ways to make your point. Idiots I say. But to play along...

I don't believes he hates the USA, but I do believe he is trying to fundamentally change the US to something akin to a Socialist state. And he certainly doesn't have the majority to accomplish this. But ohhhhh, he has help, the freaking MSM.

But it's alright. You guys tried. Now its over. The left's BIGGEST mistake was going "full r****d" with the liberal agenda. TOO MUCH TOO SOON. Now your colors are showing and you've pushed your agenda back a generation or two.

If I may paraphrase your buddy, "you guys acted stupidly".

And to my point. It's because of this kind of crap, the liberal agenda/MSM connection, we're reacting...as the liberals have for the past 40 years.

So get over yourselves. You had a chance and blew it.

Your time is now coming to an end.

Not really a judge in the legal sense (in most cases), but an elected official conducting the business of the county.

The Texas Constitution vests broad judicial and administrative powers in the position of county judge, who presides over a five-member commissioners court, which has budgetary and administrative authority over county government operations.

The county judge handles such widely varying matters as hearings for beer and wine license applications, hearing on admittance to state hospitals for the mentally ill and mentally r****ded, juvenile work permits and temporary guardianships for special purposes. The judge is also responsible for calling elections, posting election notices and for receiving and canvassing the election returns. The county judge may perform marriages.

A county judge in Texas may have judicial responsibility for certain criminal, civil and probate matters - responsibility for these functions vary from county to county. In those counties in which the judge has judicial responsibilities, the judge has appellate jurisdiction over matters arising from the justice courts. The county judge is also head of civil defense and disaster relief, county welfare and in counties under 225,000 population, the judge prepares the county budget along with the county auditor or county clerk.

Pssst. He's black. And he's a member of the Democratic Party. That's like Willie Horton mixed with Trotsky.

Yeah, I noted that a poster called him "boy" already, probably not intentionally.

To the judge's credit, he said "maybe" civil war.

Also, in my latest Obama insider newsletter, he said the panhandle would become a reservation for wingers, so Lubbock will definitely not be under UN control. However, there will be a UN perimeter of sorts, with check points.

Very intentional. I seem to recall reading how Obama referenced Rubio as someone's boy.
